I have to say that it would not make me feel all fuzzy and warm inside to see my man applying or wearing make up! I like my man wild and rugged, and it is a struggle to have him put a little hair gel on to keep his hair a bit neater!!
I suppose it is okay, as long as it is not obvious to the naked eye that Mr is wearing "make-up",
but then again, men's products are widely advertised these days.(but he must not touch my stuff)
I think it depends on what we, you, define as 'makeup' when it relates to men?
Makeup (foundation, cover sticks, etc) are used by male actors, both on and off the set, stage, film, and no one seems to notice. It is discreet. Would hair styling products be considered 'makeup'? How about pedicures, manicures and taming a 'uni-brow'?
Men are more concerned with how they look...to attract whomever, and I think psychologically and emotionally, that is a 'good' thing.
Self-improvement and feeling good about yourself is not just the province of women in regards to 'makeup' products for men. It is self-improvement and caring for yourself and your appearance.
