The definition of beauty

I was just wandering how many of you would do botox and if you have what results did you get?

Hi Lisa, Thanks for the reply. I have had the botox shots and yes they were 10 dollars a unit. The problem is that the lines come back within 4 months and you have to redo the shots. I did not see alot of change with the shots. I even walked out with a very severe headache. My shots were a Christmas gift but there after it is up to me. Also for the needles they are so small you can barely feel them. I am scared to death of needles and the nurse who gave me the shots had to hold my hand all the way through. Have a great day

I was always the one who said I wouldn't change anything on my body even if I had the money! Then I turned 50! I had a lipo procedure done a few months ago, for the fat on my tummy, and I would not do it again. Firstly, I was told that this new procedure was so painless you could go back to work the next day. NOT! I still felt the pain weeks later. Unless I was working on reviewing the shows on TV all day, there is no job I could have gone back to that soon! I was bruised all over, and the scars oozed for almost a full week. The results? I see some difference, but I wouldn't do it again. I had thought about doing my neck next, but I will keep trying out all the wonder creams that come out on the market first!!

Personally? No I don't think so. Because it made from cow and I can't eat cow anything I don't want to stick something in my face that I may be one in a billion that reacts to it. I did a blog post about this because I read that if you start early and use Botox as a prevent wrinkles for starting? Read what I found out here:
Another reason why Botox is a No No
Just a thought..
Good for you Barbara, you tried something to help you feel better. But we all forget that doctors don't see pain like we do, if men had babies just how many babies would be born? LOL

I personally would not touch it with a ten foot pole. I'm not judging anyone who has had it done, but for me I just wouldn't. I posted on my blog an article about the dangers of botox. You can read about it HERE. After reading how it's tested on animals, and the suffering they go through, it made me absolutely livid! Just my 2cents. :)

I would do Botox.
I consider many of these plastic surgery procedures a form of self-improvement and maintenance that some people may wish to utilize.

I would have a full body lift as one expression of self-improvement and maintenance. I know that doing so would be an emotional and psychological life to me and my appearance.

That is not to say that I believe that plastic surgery is the be all and end all or the 'solution' (you see how we, I have to qualify this type of self-improvement? There is a question in that!)

I would utilize Botox for my personal preferences and what I deem necessary...for me!

As before I stated I had botox and it's alright. Going back and doing it every 4-6 months is not ok. If it last longer than it did, I would have to say it is worth it.

Not a chance for me!
Not where there are products out there that do the job naturally and in a healthy way.

About two months ago I started using a Galvanic Spa device.
I've seen in Vogue where Nicole Kidman won't walk the red carpet without it having a treatment first. I'm not walking any red carpet...maybe just the carpool lines...but I'm loving it!

I'm watching lines soften, wrinkles disappear...and I had a friend take care of a black/yellow/green bruise on her eye in a day. It's easy too: 5 minutes twice a week.

I'll be honest, I've liked the results so much, I started a business with it.
